Discovery

This short film was created during the Sony 6 Hour Film Challenge at the Cinema Line House in Victoria. Our goal: Plan, shoot, edit, and deliver a complete story under extreme time pressure using Sony’s FX3 camera and professional gear. I teamed up with a small crew to tackle this challenge, blending storytelling with fast creative execution.

Production

I focused on editing and sound design while collaborating on the story and pacing. Our concept centered on breaking through creative burnout something most creators have felt. With only hours to work, we divided tasks efficiently, adjusted on the fly, and leaned into the visuals to tell the story.

Delivery

With time running out, I built the final cut in Adobe Premiere Pro, mixing and subtle transitions and ambient sound design. Despite the limitations, we delivered on time and placed 3rd overall earning access to future Sony filmmaking sessions. We were proud of the results.
